This towering statue captures the iconic silhouette of Christ the Redeemer, complete with outstretched arms and draped robes rendered in careful grayscale blocks. Standing over a hundred blocks tall with a commanding wingspan, this monumental sculpture makes an unmistakable statement piece for a mountaintop, a city skyline, or a large public plaza.

The Design and Form

The statue rises from a sturdy, faceted pedestal built from Deepslate Bricks, featuring a small recessed entrance accented by a Dark Oak Door. Above the base, the main figure is shaped with sloping shoulders and tiered folds that cascade down the length of the robes. The head is subtly hooded, and the arms extend outward at a broad angle to create the famous open-armed posture.

The Palette and Materials

The sculpture relies on a restrained palette to mimic the look of classic stone monuments:

• The bulk of the figure is constructed using Smooth Stone to give the robes and torso a clean, uniform texture.
• Details and trims incorporate Smooth Stone Slab elements to smooth out the contours of the head and shoulders.
• The dark stone foundation uses Deepslate Bricks to anchor the massive height of the monument.
• Subtle lighting is provided by a few discreetly placed Torch and Wall Torch units around the base.

Placement and Use

Because of its grand vertical scale, this statue demands an elevated setting where it can be seen from afar. It serves wonderfully as the focal point of a large urban build, a coastal overlook, or a cathedral courtyard. The hollow interior accessible through the base even allows for the addition of a viewing platform or a winding staircase leading up toward the head.
