Shiny Rayquaza: Serpentine Pokémon Sculpture

A sprawling voxel sculpture of Rayquaza, the legendary Pokémon, captured mid-coil with its long serpentine body looping back on itself and its head rearing up at one end.
Form and Pose
- The body twists through several S-curves across a 56×51×61 footprint, giving the piece a sense of motion despite being a static build.
- Small clawed limbs and a horned, fanged head are picked out in fine detail near the front, while the tail tapers off with a spiked red tip.
Palette
- The dominant tones are gray concrete and gray wool, giving the scaly hide its shiny (rather than standard green) coloring.
- Cyan terracotta lines the underside in a segmented pattern, echoing Rayquaza's belly plates, while red concrete blocks form the jagged crests along the spine and head.
- Ochre and pearlescent froglights are worked into the face and belly seams, adding a warm glow to the eyes and joints.
- Small touches of mangrove wood and deepslate stairs/slabs shape finer curves and structural transitions along the body.
Display
Built free-floating rather than set on a base, this piece works best mounted in open air, on a plinth, or above water, where the full coil of the body and its glowing highlights can be seen from multiple angles.
