Cow Farm - Phase 1 | Starting Skyblock

Overview: This cow farm is built for one purpose: giving new players a reliable, hands off source of early income with almost no building effort or resources. It's tiny at just 4x4 blocks wide and roughly 29 blocks tall, making it one of the most beginner friendly farms out there. At the top sits the cow spawner, positioned directly above an oak button. Because a button isn't a solid block, every cow that spawns on top of it immediately falls through instead of walking around or getting stuck, sending it straight down the shaft below.

How It Works: The cow simply free falls the entire height of the shaft, taking fall damage the whole way down, which is enough to kill it by the time it lands. There's no need for water, redstone, an anvil, or any kill mechanism at all, the button alone guarantees the drop every time. Leather and raw beef collect at the base, and an oak fence gate gives you easy access in and out to grab your loot whenever you swing by.

Why It's Great for Starters: The entire structure is built from oak logs, wood, planks, and slabs, keeping material costs about as low as possible, which makes this an ideal very first farm before you've unlocked pricier building materials. It won't compete with mega farms pulling in millions of coins, but for a brand new island with barely any starting capital, it's exactly the kind of low effort, low cost setup that gets your economy moving from day one.
