Shenron: Coiled Eastern Dragon Statue

A serpentine dragon twists through several full loops of its own body, head raised and jaws parted as if mid-roar, with a sweeping set of branching horns rising from its skull.

Form and Pose

• The body coils into overlapping loops, giving the whole sculpture a dynamic, almost calligraphic S-curve when seen from above.
• Clawed limbs tuck beneath the body, and the head is turned outward with an open mouth showing teeth.
• Branching end-rod antlers and whiskers fan out above and beside the head, adding fine detail against the bulk of the body.

Palette and Materials

• The body is built almost entirely from polished blackstone and polished blackstone bricks, giving a smooth, dark scaled hide with subtle texture variation.
• A long stripe of polished andesite and smooth stone runs along the underside, reading as pale belly scales that contrast against the dark upper body.
• Ochre froglight blocks sit near the head, likely marking the eyes with a warm glow point.
• Small touches of basalt, nether bricks, and andesite wall accent details like the horns and jaw.

Scale and Placement

At roughly 135 by 88 blocks across and 124 tall, this is a monumental centerpiece suited to an open plaza, temple courtyard, or garden large enough to let its coils breathe. It reads best from an elevated or distant angle where the full serpentine shape and antlered head can be appreciated at once.
