200k-1.2M Bortal Creeper Farm

Two very fast portal-based gunpowder farms designed for Minecraft 1.20.2 and above. This build uses Methodzz's boat portal concept to reduce mob lifetime in the Overworld and send them directly to the Nether, offering incredible rates with relatively simple building effort and minimal redstone.

How It Works

• Utilizes portal mechanics to transport creepers instantly from the Overworld to the Nether, maximizing spawning potential and handling mob management efficiently.
• The small variant measures 56x8x43 for the spawning area and relies on Nether Portal, Dark Oak Trapdoor, and Dispenser components.
• The large variant scales up the operation with a 98x113x109 Overworld side utilizing Nether Portal, Iron Trapdoor, and Smooth Stone.

What It Produces

• Small variant: 200k gunpowder per hour.
• Large variant: 1.2M gunpowder per hour.

How to Use It

• Requires a perimeter to be dug to ensure maximum spawning potential.
• The large variant requires two players to run the farm simultaneously: one in the Overworld and one in the Nether.

Before you build

• Small variant will not work on a server if another player is in the Nether more than 128 blocks away from the mob elevator unless someone stands within range.
