mcstructureViewer

Open Bedrock .mcstructure files in your browser. View any structure-block save in 3D. No install, no account, no upload.

What is an mcstructure viewer?

On Minecraft Bedrock Edition, the structure block saves a selected region as a .mcstructure file, the Bedrock container for blocks, blockstates, and block entities. It's how builds move between worlds, behavior packs, and adventure maps on Bedrock, console, and mobile.

An mcstructure viewer lets you open those files without loading a world or placing a structure block. Drop one into your browser and Shulkr renders the build in 3D, mapping Bedrock blocks to their Java equivalents so you can inspect layout, dimensions, and contents at a glance.

Behavior-pack workflow

Bedrock keeps structure files inside a behavior pack at BP/structures/<namespace>/<name>.mcstructure. Copy that file out of the pack and preview it here before loading it back in-game with a structure block in Load mode.

When this is useful

  • Previewing a Bedrock build on a phone or laptop that isn't running Minecraft.
  • Inspecting structures inside a downloaded behavior pack or adventure map.
  • Sharing a Bedrock build with someone who plays Java, or moving it across with the converter.
  • Counting blocks and estimating materials with the built-in area-measure tool.

Shulkr is fully client-side. Your .mcstructure file is parsed and rendered entirely in your browser and never leaves your device.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I open a .mcstructure file outside Minecraft?

Open the Shulkr viewer and drag your .mcstructure file anywhere on the page (or click Open a schematic). Shulkr reads the Bedrock structure format natively and renders it in 3D. No structure block, no behavior pack, no setup.

What is a .mcstructure file?

.mcstructure is Minecraft Bedrock Edition's structure format, exported by the in-game structure block and loaded from a behavior pack. It stores blocks, blockstates, and block entities for a selected region, the Bedrock counterpart to Java's .nbt structure files.

Does Shulkr render Bedrock blocks correctly?

Shulkr's textures and models are based on Minecraft Java Edition. Bedrock blocks are mapped to their Java equivalents where possible, so most natural and building blocks render accurately. Bedrock-only blocks and some directional states may differ from how they appear in-game.

Where do .mcstructure files live on Bedrock?

Structure files saved by the structure block live in your world's behavior pack under BP/structures/[namespace]/[name].mcstructure. Copy that file out and drop it into Shulkr to preview it.

Can I convert a .mcstructure to a Java format?

Yes. Open the .mcstructure file in Shulkr's converter and export it as Java .schem, .litematic, or .nbt, entirely in your browser, no upload. Java↔Bedrock translation is partial, so directional blocks may need touch-up.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs entirely in your browser using WebGL and JavaScript. Your schematic files never leave your device.

What are the size limits?

Very large schematics open too. The bigger the file, the longer it takes to parse and render, depending on your hardware.
