FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a Minecraft schematic editor?

A schematic editor lets you create and modify Minecraft structures outside the game and save them as schematic files (.litematic, .schem, .nbt). Shulkr's editor runs in your browser: place and erase blocks, select regions to fill or replace, edit individual block states, then export a file you can import into Litematica, WorldEdit, or a structure block.

Is the Minecraft schematic editor free?

Yes. The editor is completely free, runs entirely in your browser, and never uploads your files. Everything stays on your device.

Which schematic formats can I edit and export?

You can open .litematic, .schem, .nbt, and .mcstructure files, and export to .litematic, .schem, or .nbt. Projects can also be saved as a native .shulkr file to keep editing later.

Can I edit a schematic I'm already viewing?

Yes. Open any schematic in the viewer, then click Open in editor in the top bar to load it straight into the editor as a new project.

Does the editor work on mobile?

The editor is desktop-only for now. It needs a mouse and keyboard for precise building. The viewer works on any device.
