No. Everything runs entirely in your browser using WebGL and JavaScript. Your schematic files never leave your device.
Schematics can be up to 164×164×164 blocks. Larger files may take longer to parse and render depending on your hardware.
Yes. Add a url query parameter containing a direct link to a supported schematic file.
/viewer?url=https://www.example.com/schematic.litematicThe linked file must end in .schem, .litematic, .nbt, or .mcstructure, stay under the remote import size limit, and be publicly reachable. shulkr validates the URL before fetching it, so use public schematic links only.
Yes. The viewer is fully responsive and works on modern phones and tablets with WebGL support, which is handy for keeping a plan open next to you while you build in survival. Large or complex schematics still render best on desktop, where performance and precise mouse controls make exploration smoother.
Block textures and models are based on a recent version of Minecraft Java Edition. Most blocks from older versions will display correctly. Bedrock-specific blocks are mapped to their Java equivalents where possible.
Missing textures typically mean the block isn't recognized by the viewer yet. This can happen with unsupported modded blocks, custom resource packs, or very new additions. shulkr includes vanilla assets plus bundled Create-family assets, and unsupported blocks fall back to a missing-texture placeholder.
There is currently no built-in export or sharing feature. You can take screenshots using your browser or OS screenshot tools.
