1.5M-3M Lazy Looting General Mob Farm

An advanced 32gt lazy looting boat portal general mob farm designed to deliver massive yields while preventing item loss and reducing lag, featuring no experience orbs due to sculk catalysts preventing orb buildup.
How it Works
Mobs spawn on a specific side of the portal in the Overworld and enter the Nether, ending up in lazy chunks due to a wide portal. The mobs are pushed out of lazy chunks and immediately killed by
TNT. The
TNT is ignited by a flaming arrow from an entity holding a Looting III sword to obtain the Looting effect.
What it Produces
Rates were measured in a Desert biome. Note that in versions 1.21 through 1.21.10, gunpowder rates are slightly decreased and bone and arrow rates are doubled.
- Base version:
- Total Rates: 2.55M/h
- Gunpowder: 1.3M/h
- Bone, Arrow: 600k/h
- Redstone Dust: 49k/h
- Small variant:
- Total Rates: 1.38M/h
- Gunpowder: 680k/h
- Bone, Arrow: 336k/h
- Redstone Dust: 26.6k/h
Consumes
TNT at a rate of 2.3k/h.
How to Use
- Find a location where you want to build the farm, preferably a desert for less rotten flesh. Make sure the overworld part is built as low as possible, preferably with broken bedrock at y=-64.
- Go to the Nether and find the closest chunk corner. Align the schematic to that corner based on the alignment glass in the schematic. Stand on the
Purple Stained Glass and note down the coordinates. Multiply them by 8 and go to the exact location in the Overworld, then align the
Purple Stained Glass in the Overworld schematic to be at that coordinate. - Do not cross the chunk border marked with the red stained glass at the
TNT placement location if the Overworld is loaded. - Make sure the arrow storage has an arrow in it. To put one in, shoot straight downwards at the target block.
- Put boxes of
TNT in the
Chests and put flint and iron ingots into the flint and steel crafters and the
Dispenser of the small portal. - Turn on the setup and ensure that the owner of the arrow is holding a Looting III sword in their main hand, then use continuously while placing
TNT.
Available Versions
The build supports Minecraft versions 1.21 to 1.21.11, and 1.17+ with modifications. Schematics are available for both the Overworld and Nether sides, including options for 10-chunk and 16-chunk render or simulation distances.
Before you build
- The arrow will eventually fly out of position and you will need to reset it.
