This medieval house features a steep, towering roofline and a weathered dark stone facade that gives it an unmistakably rustic presence. Built on a rectangular footprint, the structure rises sharply into a dramatic A-frame profile with asymmetrical detailing across its opposing facades.

The Design and Layout

The house presents two very different faces to the world. One side features a clean gable punctuated by an oxidized copper frame and a recessed window, while the other side breaks the massive stone slope with protruding timber dormers and rugged texturing. Deep stone textures dominate the silhouette, giving the impression of an enduring, fortified dwelling designed to withstand harsh weather.

Materials and Palette

The exterior leans heavily into a moody, cold palette anchored by Deepslate Bricks and Tuff Bricks, accented with Chiseled Tuff Bricks and Polished Deepslate for added textural variation. Stripped spruce logs and dark oak elements provide a warm timber contrast around the lower foundation and upper dormers, while trailing Vines elements soften the harsh masonry with creeping greenery. An arrangement of Oxidized Copper Trapdoor units adds a distinct splash of turquoise color to one of the main walls.

Placement Ideas
