About this build

An intermediate bone meal kelp farm designed for efficiency and reduced entity lag. It produces a kelp rate of 242.7k/h while consuming 27k/h bone blocks.

How it works

  • Uses slime blocks powered for 6gt to run on an 8gt cycle, matching hopper speed.
  • Water flow allows kelp to grow and pushes item entities towards collection.
  • Crafter bone meal distribution is tiled vertically, allowing for unloaders at the top and minimal hoppers or entities, with every hopper having a container above it except for four in the shulker unloaders.
  • Features automatic shutoff when running low on bone blocks and is horizontally tileable.

How to use

  1. Input bone block shulkers into the 3 unloaders at the top.
  2. Flick the lever to toggle the farm.

Startup instructions

  • Place 3 or more shulkers of bone blocks in each unloader at the top.
  • When the items are distributed, power the top left Crafter.
  • This startup only needs to be done once, since the farm automatically stops when the unloaders are running low on bone blocks.

Versions

  • Supported version: 1.21+
