About this build

An intermediate single dimension self-sustaining raid farm. This build is simple and cheap, featuring a slimeless and iceless design with no vex spawning, end compatibility, automatic killing mode, and requiring only 3 villagers for setup.

Rates and Performance

  • Stated rates range between 11k and 25k.
  • Placing any non-raider mob in the chest boat will increase rates by roughly 1%.
  • Tested active lag is 1.7mspt on a Ryzen 7 7840H with Lithium.
  • Difficulty must be set to Hard for full rates and self-sustainability.

Variants and Versions

Schematic files are available for multiple versions and player configurations:

  • 1 player variant (requires a Beacon):
    • Versions 1.21 - 1.21.1
    • Versions 1.21.2+
  • 2 player variant:
    • Versions 1.21 - 1.21.1
    • Versions 1.21.2+

Instructions for Use

  • This design is directional. Do not rotate it.
  • Ensure the blue glass box in the schematic remains within a single subchunk for proper subchunk alignment.
  • All ominous bottles must be levels 2-4 only.
  • The sword must be a diamond or netherite sword enchanted with Sharpness V, Sweeping Edge III, and Looting III, with Unbreaking III and Mending highly recommended.
  • Make sure that there are no spawnable blocks within 96 blocks of the raid center. Building it over an ocean or at a high altitude is recommended.
  • For the 2 player variant, the beacon may be removed by placing food in the attacking player's off-hand and making it use continuously while attacking, noting that food must be restocked or the player will starve.
  • Hold 2 or more ominous bottles in the player's off-hand and a sword in the player's main hand (for the 2 player variant, place a player in each Composter, giving bottles to the player looking down and the sword to the player looking at the armor stand).
  • Consume one ominous bottle.
  • Flick the lever on the Redstone Lamp to toggle the farm.
  • Attack at an 11gt-60gt (0.55 second-3 second) interval and use continuously.

Before you build

  • This design is directional and must not be rotated.
  • The blue glass box in the schematic must remain within a single subchunk.
