Tick Phase Manual Bedrock Breaker

This is a redstone and bedrock breaker build that features a 1gt clock powering and depowering at specific tick phases. It is a fast, safe, and reliable method for removing medium amounts of bedrock, such as an 8x8 area, without needing explosives or lag. The archive provides multiple schematic options, including a base version and a small variant.
How it Works
- Uses the principle that pistons only fire in the block event phase, while powering and depowering a piston schedules a block event regardless of the tick phase.
- Depowering an extended piston schedules a contract event, and if execution finds a power source, it sets the piston to an extended headless state.
- Steps involve depowering the extended piston, instant-mining it to replace with a piston during the player phase, adding the power source back before the next game tick, and letting the piston turn into a headless piston when executing its contract event.
What it Produces
- Efficient removal of medium areas of bedrock like 8x8 without explosives.
How to Use
- Build a beacon equipped with Haste II, noting that the beacon may be omitted if using the Tweakeroo mod feature tweakBreakReplace.
- Extend redstone as shown in the video.
- Flick the lever to toggle the clock.
- Equip a piston in the player off-hand and a diamond pickaxe with Efficiency V in the player main hand.
- Attack and use simultaneously, then remove the redstone line powering the piston and update the piston if needed.
