About this build

This towering five-tiered temple captures the classic silhouette of traditional East Asian architecture, complete with heavily flared eaves and a striking vertical spire. Standing at an impressive height of 56 blocks, its soaring profile makes it a commanding focal point for any custom mountain range, historical valley, or serene garden landscape.

Architectural Design

  • Multi-Tiered Roofs: Each of the five levels features sweeping, overhanging roofs built with deep eaves that step outward at the corners, creating the signature curved pagoda silhouette.
  • Vertical Spire: The apex of the roof culminates in a decorative metallic-looking finial that draws the eye upward, adding to the immense vertical scale of the structure.
  • Foundation and Grounds: The base rests on a raised stone platform surrounded by subtle garden beds, low wooden framing borders, and patches of greenery that anchor the monumental height to the terrain.

Palette and Materials

  • Dark Roof Textures: The expansive roof surfaces combine dark stone variants like Blackstone, Polished Blackstone Bricks, and Prismarine Bricks, paired with matching slabs like Blackstone Slab and Polished Blackstone Brick Slab to achieve deep, textured shading across the slopes.
  • Contrasting Trims: Vibrant cyan and teal accents stand out vividly along the eaves, utilizing Dark Prismarine Slab, Stripped Warped Stem, and Warped Slab to frame each tier with a distinct decorative edge.
  • Warm Wood Framing: The core walls and structural supports rely heavily on natural warm tones, featuring extensive use of Stripped Spruce Log, Spruce Slab, and Spruce Stairs to bring a traditional timber aesthetic to the facade.

Placement and Usage

This temple works exceptionally well as a spiritual sanctuary tucked away in a mountainous province, or as the centerpiece of a feudal Japanese village build. The open ground level and surrounding courtyard offer plenty of space to connect paths, bridges, and custom custom custom landscaping for players looking to integrate a grand historical landmark into their world.
